๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll build and operate test infrastructure for validating grid-tied converters at a power electronics startup. You'll own test bench design, execution, data analysis, and failure isolation, accelerating reliable hardware development.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Design and build electrical reliability test benches for power converters
  • Specify and integrate lab equipment like supplies, loads, and DAQ systems
  • Execute reliability campaigns including burn-in, power cycling, and thermal stress
  • Build Python automation for instrument control and data logging

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Hands-on experience with electrical test setups for complex hardware
  • Comfort with bench power equipment scopes, DMMs, power analyzers
  • Programming experience in Python including instrument control

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience with accelerated stress testing (HALT/HASS, thermal cycling)
  • Familiarity with power electronics failure mechanisms
  • Experience designing repeatable test cells with schematics and procedures
