Description

In this role, you will provide legal advice and manage the setup, structuring, and operations of regulated funds, primarily Luxembourg-domiciled private equity funds. You will work closely with internal teams and clients on fund-related legal and regulatory matters, including compliance, governance, and product structuring.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer in Germany or Luxembourg with a focus on financial law
• 6-10 years post-qualification experience in law firm, financial services, or private equity
• Strong knowledge of fund regulations (UCITS, AIFMD, CSSF) and EU directives
• Excellent written and verbal English; German advantageous
• Highly structured, comfortable with fast-paced environment and ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Creation and monitoring of Private Equity funds, including drafting amendments and regulatory filings
• Drafting, negotiation, and administration of contracts
• Legal research and contribution to projects for internal needs or client files
• Development and updating of procedures and regulatory databases
• Contribution to operational life of funds: board resolutions, auditor contact, report review
