💼 About This Role

You'll architect the next generation of DigitalOcean's Identity platform, building high-availability authentication and authorization services in Go that scale to handle billions of transactions per second. You'll drive IAM foundations for AI/ML platforms and lead the implementation of OIDC and SAML integrations for seamless SSO. This role is critical to supporting AI initiatives and evolving our policy engine for complex agentic workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design high-availability, low-latency authentication services in Go.
• Build IAM foundations for cloud-native AI/ML platforms.
• Lead OIDC and SAML integrations for federated SSO.
• Evolve Policy Engine using Rego/OPA for advanced authorization.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering with 2+ years in Identity or Distributed Systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Go and gRPC microservices.
• Deep knowledge of identity protocols OIDC, OAuth2, SAML.
• Experience with container orchestration Kubernetes and SQL (MySQL).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.
• Familiarity with Canary/Blue-Green deployments via Kubernetes.
