💼 About This Role

You'll join SpaceX's machining team to perform precision inspections and program CMMs for manufactured components. Your work will directly improve first article success rates and support humanity's mission to Mars. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to enhance inspection processes and solve complex GD&T challenges.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform precision CMM and surface plate inspections on mechanical parts and assemblies
• Create and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS for bridge and 5-axis machines
• Interpret GD&T requirements and identify drawing ambiguities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inspection processes and specifications

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years of CMM programming experience
• Proficiency in GD&T interpretation and application
• Experience with PC-DMIS programming software

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-sensing CMMs (vision, laser, touch probe)
• Ability to design quality gauging for efficiency improvements
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
