You'll define and refine the core combat experience of a AAA online multiplayer game, collaborating with directors and cross-disciplinary leads to translate vision into finely tuned gameplay systems. This role offers the chance to shape how players engage moment-to-moment in a player-first competitive environment.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Define and execute combat systems vision with the Design Director
  • Design and implement weapons, abilities, and core gameplay interactions
  • Collaborate with art and engineering leads to align gameplay systems
  • Prototype and refine combat systems for polish and balance

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Proven experience as senior or principal designer on at least two shipped AAA titles
  • Strong expertise in combat design and gameplay systems within AAA or multiplayer games
  • Advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred) and game design tools
  • Deep understanding of core gameplay systems like combat loops, player abilities, and balance
