💼 About This Role

You'll join a dynamic team responsible for reporting mortgage data and reconciling loan activity to agency and private investors at a fast-scaling fintech. Your work will directly ensure timely and accurate investor reporting using Valon's proprietary servicing system. This role offers the chance to shape modernized reporting processes in a tech-first mortgage company backed by a16z.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Report loan activity records accurately to Investors.
• Perform monthly reconciliations per investor requirements.
• Maintain remittance schedules and ensure timely fund delivery.
• Apply amortization schedules to loan data for reporting.
• Use Excel and Google Workspace to manage reporting data.

📋 Requirements

• 1 year of Investor Reporting experience in mortgage servicing
• Proven experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and private investors
• Strong understanding of remittance types and loan amortization
• Proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, sum functions)

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or STEM
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance role
