💼 About This Role

You'll lead a senior team of engineers owning the AWS ecosystem powering Brex. Your core impact is driving a high-priority Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) initiative to multi-region readiness. This role stands out for combining people leadership with deep technical involvement on critical infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage and support a senior team of 6 IC engineers.
• Drive execution of the multi-year BCDR initiative.
• Maintain and scale core cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, RDS, networking).
• Partner with product teams to drive adoption of new infrastructure capabilities.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years directly managing software or infrastructure engineering teams.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgres.
• Proven ability to design multi-region deployments or disaster recovery frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience in software or systems engineering.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform.
• Background in cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
• Experience with Go, Kotlin, Python, or Elixir.
