Description

You will build the core platform for HyperDX, designing backend systems and APIs for ingesting, querying, and analyzing observability data at massive scale. You'll scale cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes and Helm, ensure operational excellence through CI/CD and monitoring, and engineer data pipelines for petabyte-level workloads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills
• Deep understanding of APIs, event-driven systems, and high-throughput data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytical databases
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend systems and APIs for observability data ingestion, query, and analysis
• Architect and maintain cloud-native systems with Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code
• Define best practices for CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Engineer ingestion and data processing pipelines for petabyte-scale workloads
• Engage with open-source community and customers to incorporate feedback
