You'll own the privacy governance framework at Anthropic, defining policies and controls that translate privacy principles into practice. You'll shape a foundational function with significant autonomy and drive cross-functional change. This role offers the chance to build from an early stage at a leading AI lab.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set strategy and roadmap for privacy governance framework
• Own privacy documentation lifecycle end-to-end
• Establish governance forums and approval workflows
• Own privacy controls testing program

📋 Requirements

• Deep working knowledge of GDPR and one major US state privacy regime
• Demonstrated track record building or scaling a privacy governance program end-to-end
• Strong written communication for policies and board-ready reporting
• Privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM

✨ Nice to Have

• Senior privacy governance leadership at a tech company with AI/ML
• Direct experience engaging EU data protection authorities
• Familiarity with AI-specific privacy considerations
