Description
In this role, you will oversee assembly programs from development through start of production, driving problem-solving and innovation. You will manage resources, track performance metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure program success and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in automotive manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Program steering roles in manufacturing, construction, or logistics
- Strong understanding of pre-series builds and automotive production process
- Hands-on experience with assembly tools, jigs, and fixtures in manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Oversee execution and management of assembly programs, ensuring objectives, timing, and budget are met
- Support assembly teams from development through SOP on New Models
- Drive problem solving and innovation with support from management
- Manage resources to support lean project completion
- Track program performance metrics and provide regular updates to management
