💼 About This Role

You'll build and scale Samsara's Enterprise AI platform, deploying AI agents into real business workflows. You'll own the full lifecycle from prototyping to production, impacting safety and efficiency across global physical operations. This role offers autonomy to shape AI tools used daily by employees.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and own end-to-end Data AI platform from ideation to production.
• Architect and scale GenAI capabilities for domain-specific business AI agents.
• Provide documentation and support for deploying and managing AI agents.
• Lead platform investments in RAG, embedding pipelines, and LLM orchestration.
• Design and integrate AI solutions with internal systems and third-party platforms.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of industry software engineering or data platform development.
• 3+ years owning development, testing, deployment, and support of web applications and backend APIs.
• 1+ year building and deploying production-ready Generative AI solutions.
• Strong expertise in Python and AI/ML fundamentals.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agent development frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI).
• Experience in 0→1 MVP development and iterative prototyping.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
