You'll lead the continuous improvement and scaling of Aurora's Enterprise Safety Management System, reporting to the Chief Safety Officer. Your core impact will be integrating safety into corporate culture and business processes across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to shape safety strategy for autonomous vehicle technology at a leading self-driving company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve Aurora's Safety Management System framework
• Govern the Safety Review Board for enterprise risk decisions
• Lead the Safety Concern Reporting program and just culture
• Provide strategic direction to Fleet Safety oversight

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years developing/managing Safety Management System in transportation
• 5+ years leading diverse safety teams through managers
• Expertise in Safety Risk Management methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety Management

✨ Nice to Have

• Advanced degree in Safety Engineering or Human Factors
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent
• Experience with autonomous vehicle risk management
