Description

You will drive the full sales cycle for a defined revenue tier, including prospecting, demos, and closing opportunities for CockroachDB's database-as-a-service offerings. You'll lead presentations to technical and executive audiences, manage your pipeline, and collaborate with sales engineering and customer success teams to help innovative companies scale their apps.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of sales experience selling SaaS or adjacent technology
  • 3-5 years total experience, ideally B2B software sales
  • Strong ability to connect with customers by actively listening
  • Track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)

Responsibilities

  • Drive all sales motions (prospect-to-close) for a defined revenue tier
  • Lead compelling presentations of CockroachDB’s product and vision
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility
  • Manage strong working relationships with internal partners (sales engineering, sales development, customer success)
