💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team overseeing regulatory gaming tax compliance and customer tax reporting for FanDuel's finance operations. Your impact will ensure accuracy and timeliness of compliance deliverables while driving process automation and scalable solutions. This role offers visibility with regulators and cross-functional teams at a leading mobile gaming company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage and coach a small team of compliance professionals
• Oversee regulatory compliance processes including wagering/gaming tax and customer tax reporting
• Review workpapers, models, and submissions for accuracy and timeliness
• Serve as primary liaison with regulators and external partners on compliance matters

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in tax, compliance, or audit in a highly regulated industry
• Prior people management or team lead experience
• Strong understanding of information reporting and withholding (e.g., Form 1099, 1042, W-2G)
• Data-driven mindset with experience using large datasets and analytics

• Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CRCM)
• Experience with SOX controls and public company reporting
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
