Description

You will define the architecture of aircraft high voltage to low voltage power conversion and distribution systems, lead electrical load analysis, and drive system integration. You'll collaborate across teams to optimize system performance, weight, and cost while supporting safety and certification efforts.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years or MS with 8+ years experience
• Experience in electrical power conversion and distribution system architecture
• Knowledge of DC-DC, AC-DC/DC-AC topologies and wide-band-gap semiconductor devices
• Proficiency in lab instruments: oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.
• Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Define architecture of power conversion and distribution system including converters, batteries, and distribution units
• Perform technical trade-offs to meet aircraft function and safety requirements
• Lead electrical load analysis and optimize power budgets
• Create system requirements and flow them down to subsystems
• Lead system safety and reliability analysis
