Description
You will develop onboard algorithms to update map content in response to changing scenes like construction zones, implement real-time compute solutions from sensor data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless map integration. This role is critical for enabling self-driving vehicles to safely detect and respond to dynamic environmental changes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ with focus on production software
- Proficiency in Python for algorithm development
- Strong 3D geometric reasoning skills
- Solid understanding of graph theory with practical algorithm applications
- Experience with Deep Learning and Bayesian Inference preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop onboard algorithms for updating map content in response to changing scenes
- Implement real-time compute solutions to update maps from sensor data
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Motion Planning, Localization, and Fleet Intelligence teams
- Contribute to safety cases around modern machine learning methods
- Utilize graph-centric and geometric algorithms for lane lines and drivable surfaces
