Description

You will design and lead high-performance, scalable backend systems for Coupang's eCommerce platform, supporting core services like WOW membership and Fresh. You'll own architecture, align with business stakeholders, and drive innovation through collaboration across tech teams.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of open source stack and distributed systems
• Hands-on engineering leader with architecture design experience
• Experience with scalable, high-performance backend systems
• Ability to solve complex business problems with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of purchasing and logistics systems

Responsibilities

• Design and lead layered applications and purchase/logistic systems architecture
• Understand business problems and align with PO to deliver solutions
• Coordinate stakeholders and lead engineers for mission-critical projects
• Define roadmap and vision for scalable merchant platform growth
• Collaborate with other tech teams to increase service extensibility and drive innovation
