Description

You will lead comprehensive fire protection evaluations for hydrocarbon processing and storage facilities, develop site-specific fire protection philosophies, and conduct consequence modeling. Guide clients through all stages of the fire protection life cycle, support process hazard analyses, and prepare technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering
• 3-5+ years experience in process safety for Oil & Gas industry
• Strong familiarity with NFPA, API, and FM Global standards
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculation software
• Professional Engineer (PE) or functional safety certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection evaluations for hydrocarbon processing facilities
• Develop fire protection philosophies for fire/gas detection, active/passive protection, emergency response
• Employ performance-based design to optimize fire protection equipment
• Conduct consequence modeling to characterize hazard areas
• Support Process Hazard Analyses (HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, FMEA)
