You'll architect a modern, Python-based automation platform for embedded devices and cloud-integrated energy systems at SPAN. Your core impact is building deterministic test systems and observable pipelines that enable high-velocity releases. This role stands out as a systems engineering position through the lens of automation, not QA.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and evolve a Python-based automation platform for embedded devices.
• Integrate deeply into CI/CD systems and lead optimization for speed.
• Own embedded-firmware validation pipelines with HITL simulators.
• Develop code-first interfaces to signal generators and sensors.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in automation or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong command of Python 3.11+ and modern frameworks (pytest, Typer).
• Experience with embedded debugging and cloud observability tools.
• Proficiency in CI/CD systems (Buildkite, GitHub Actions, Docker Compose).

• Leading contributions to open-source test frameworks.
• Experience exposing tests via FastAPI or GraphQL.
