💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a newsroom leader and on-air face for WBIR-TV, creating innovative newscasts and accountability reporting that serves the Knoxville community. You'll develop original content and break news across digital and broadcast platforms.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Use editorial judgment to determine newscast content
• Work with producers to create fast-paced, innovative newscasts
• Write and post daily on all digital platforms including social media
• Develop story ideas, write, shoot, and edit news stories

📋 Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years news anchor/reporting experience
• Excellent presentation and writing skills
• Ability to develop original content through social listening
• Current driver's license and ability to operate news vehicle
