Description

You'll design and build distributed, cloud-native backend services for Ripple's Identity and Trust Platform, defining data models and APIs to unify customer identity across products. You'll drive strategic migration of identity logic, implement core platform capabilities like entitlements and compliance, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Software Engineering with deep backend focus
• Hands-on experience building and operating modern, cloud-native, highly-available distributed systems
• Proven track record designing and delivering complex features in large-scale, regulated environments
• Strong skills in API design and integration (REST and/or gRPC)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed, cloud-native backend services for the Identity and Trust Platform
• Define and implement foundational data models and APIs as the single system of record for customers and users
• Drive strategic migration of identity logic from legacy systems into new platform services
• Implement core platform capabilities including unified entitlements and shared compliance context
• Partner with Product, Compliance, and engineering teams to champion standard integration patterns
