Description

You will design, develop, and maintain the big data architecture, implementing real-time data pipelines with Kafka and optimizing search with Elasticsearch. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable data solutions and stay current with emerging big data trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS or related field (Master's preferred)
• 8+ years software engineering experience
• 5+ years in big data with MongoDB, Elastic Stack, and Kafka
• Proficiency in Node.js with NestJS and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing

Responsibilities

• Implement data processing pipelines using Kafka for real-time streaming
• Optimize and manage search capabilities using Elastic technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specs
• Oversee code reviews and ensure best practices in coding and data handling
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability
