You'll support and develop the platform serving Wikipedia, ensuring global top-10 website infrastructure is healthy and scalable. You'll lead continuous improvement through automation and collaborate with a globally distributed remote-first team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform day-to-day DevOps tasks on public-facing infrastructure
• Implement configuration management and deployment tools like Puppet and Kubernetes
• Lead automation of service installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and incident response

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in an SRE/Operations/DevOps role
• Experience with shell scripting and Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible
• Strong Linux system-level troubleshooting skills

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience setting fleet-wide security policies
• Experience with monitoring/metrics infrastructure like Prometheus and Grafana
• MediaWiki or LAMP stack experience
