Description
You will develop low-level firmware and drivers for sensors (IMU, camera, LiDAR) on embedded platforms, working with hardware engineers during board bring-up. This role requires a U.S. Person and offers the chance to contribute to a defense robotic foundation model.
Requirements
- Strong C or C++ for embedded systems
- Understanding of microcontrollers and embedded workflows
- Familiarity with basic electronics concepts
- Experience with SPI, I2C, or UART
- Must be a U.S. Person
Responsibilities
- Develop and debug sensor drivers for embedded platforms
- Bring up new sensors (IMU, camera, LiDAR, environmental)
- Implement communication protocols I2C, SPI, UART, CAN
- Write firmware for microcontrollers and embedded processors
- Build tools to validate sensor data quality
