Description

You will lead a team of senior engineers building and evolving the core data ingestion and processing infrastructure that powers Orca's cloud security platform, handling billions of cloud signals daily. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor team members, and contribute hands-on to design and implementation to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years as a team lead
• Proven experience leading teams building large-scale, data-intensive systems
• Strong understanding of distributed systems design and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with Python or Go
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior software engineers
• Own and drive delivery of high-impact projects end-to-end
• Design and review architecture for large-scale distributed systems focused on data ingestion and normalization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, SRE, and R&D to define priorities and success metrics
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and observability of core services, introducing SLOs and best practices
