Description

You will lead end-to-end architecture for Azure cloud solutions, design secure and scalable systems, and mentor engineers. You'll work hands-on with Power BI, data services, and AI tools to deliver business value while guiding teams and ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience delivering solutions in a primary domain (application development, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or data and analytics).
• 3+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading development or engineering teams.
• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or 5+ in consulting.
• Deep expertise in Power BI including enterprise report/dashboard design, advanced DAX/M/PowerQuery, performance optimization, Power BI Service administration, deployment pipelines.
• Experience deploying cloud-based solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DB.
• Experience with analytics and custom visualizations for Power BI using Python, R.
• Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing analytical queries.
• Proven experience leading hybrid and remote teams.
• Expertise in at least one major public cloud platform (Azure strongly preferred).
• Deep understanding of core concepts, languages, frameworks, and design patterns in primary domain.
• Experience using AI-augmented development and integrating AI/ML capabilities into solutions.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Experience in consulting or professional services is a plus.
• Familiarity with key cloud services (messaging, compute, data, security, networking, integration).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated interest in continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and scope for projects, leading teams to design and deliver Azure solutions.
• Serve as technical lead and subject matter expert, guiding consultants and engineers.
• Design advanced semantic models using star schemas, DAX, and Power Query.
• Advise clients on Power BI architecture, governance, and deployment strategies.
• Lead discovery and requirements sessions, clarifying scope and risks.
• Explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build trust with managers and product owners, influencing priorities.
• Enable teams to deliver with stable velocity and low defect rates.
• Align multiple teams on shared outcomes and integration points.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads through pairing, design reviews, and feedback.
• Participate in business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to pursuits.
• Create reusable assets like runbooks, workshops, and templates.
• Champion modern frameworks, patterns, and AI-assisted practices.
