💼 About This Role

You'll lead Helion's media relations strategy during a period of rapid growth, shaping how the company is understood by the public and press. You will serve as the primary interface between Helion and the media, translating complex fusion concepts into compelling narratives. This onsite role at the Everett, WA headquarters reports to the Director of Communications.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and execute Helion’s media relations strategy
• Develop and pitch compelling stories to top-tier outlets
• Support executive visibility and external speaking engagements
• Manage media inquiries and proactively shape coverage
• Partner cross-functionally to surface newsworthy milestones

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years in public relations or strategic communications
• Proven track record of securing high-impact coverage
• Strong network of media relationships in energy, climate, or tech
• Exceptional ability to translate complex technical topics
