Description
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Stack Overflow, you'll lead the technical win for enterprise accounts by running deep discovery, designing solutions, and delivering demos that connect customer problems to measurable outcomes. You'll partner with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Professional Services throughout the customer lifecycle to drive adoption and expansion.
Requirements
- 5+ years in pre-sales technical role supporting enterprise SaaS customers
- Track record of leading complex multi-stakeholder deal cycles at six- and seven-figure ACV
- Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM) and tools like Slack, Teams, GitHub, Jira
- Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted developer workflows (copilots, RAG, knowledge grounding)
- Ability to build and showcase developer workflows incorporating AI tooling
Responsibilities
- Lead technical win for new and expansion opportunities with discovery, solution design, and demos
- Conduct deep technical discovery to uncover real pain and share insights with the team
- Design solutions across product portfolio including authentication, integrations, and AI/knowledge workflows
- Serve as technical advisor to AEs/SAMs throughout deal cycles (RFPs, security reviews, procurement)
- Partner with Professional Services and CXS post-sale to support adoption and renewal health
