Description

As a Jewish Life Specialist, you will build relationships with Community Builders, develop learning materials, and coach them to create peer-led Jewish programming. You'll make Jewish learning accessible and support the organization's mission of bringing Judaism to life.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, Jewish Studies, or related field
• Post-undergrad professional experience at a Jewish organization in a programmatic capacity
• Experience working with young adults and creating experiential education programs
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Familiarity with Jewish text, rituals, and ability to make learning accessible

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Community Builders through 1:1 conversations
• Develop learning materials for events rooted in their ideas and vision
• Coach Community Builders to reflect on their Jewish life and build a Jewish home
• Review and support programmatic grant applications related to Jewish holidays
• Design educational resources for the wider network and teach staff and community
