💼 About This Role
You'll own the full new-business sales cycle for Black Duck's Application Security platform, focusing on SCA and open-source risk management. Your core impact is driving net-new revenue through prospecting, competitive displacement, and closing complex enterprise deals. This role offers the opportunity to engage with C-level executives and shape modern DevSecOps practices.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Prospect and qualify new enterprise accounts
- Manage full sales cycle from qualification to close
- Engage with CISOs, CTOs, and AppSec leaders
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering on technical validation
📋 Requirements
- 7-10 years of enterprise new-business sales experience in cybersecurity
- Proven track record of hunting and closing multi-million-dollar ARR deals
- Strong understanding of Application Security, SCA, and SBOM
- Ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience selling SCA or AppSec platforms like Snyk, Veracode, or Checkmarx
- Familiarity with CI/CD ecosystems (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
- Experience selling into Fortune 500 organizations
