You'll design, build, and maintain backend services for a new fintech product at Tipalti. You'll develop scalable microservices handling high-volume financial data and own data modeling and system architecture. This role offers real ownership in an engineering-first culture with meaningful scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Develop scalable microservices for financial data workflows
• Own data modeling, persistence strategies, and service boundaries
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts

📋 Requirements

• Strong experience building backend systems and APIs
• Proficiency in scalable microservices and distributed systems
• Solid understanding of data modeling and persistence strategies
• Experience with performance optimization and reliability

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Background in fintech or financial data systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
