Description

You will conduct research to reveal user needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform usability studies, and deliver actionable insights to improve product experiences for federal clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in human behavior or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of UX research experience
• Ability to perform all research related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
• Ability to quickly and effectively share research results
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Knowledge of UX research modalities and methods (e.g., generative and evaluative, participatory design, card sorting, journey mapping, un-moderated)
• Understanding of integrating qualitative and quantitative research methods

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to understand research needs
• Conduct all stages of UX research: identifying, planning, driving, conducting, analyzing, and reporting out actionable insights
• Recruit participants for research studies
• Communicate statuses and updates of research studies to stakeholders
• Continuously update the UX research repository
• Work cross-functionally with product owners, designers, content producers and leadership to identify user insights, gaps, and craft UX strategy
• Identify opportunities to improve user experience based on research insights
• Build a UX research repository that delivers efficiency for clients
