Description

You will lead the strategic direction and execution of Anduril's Dive-XL and XL-AUV programs, managing cross-functional teams and complex development lifecycles to deliver advanced autonomous underwater vehicle capabilities to the warfighter. Your role involves defining the long-term vision, overseeing program budgets and schedules, and fostering customer relationships in the defense sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field; Master's/PhD preferred
• 10+ years progressive defense program management experience with hardware-intensive systems
• Proven track record leading large-scale, multi-year defense programs involving autonomous systems or AUVs
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycles

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Dive-XL and XL-AUV programs
• Oversee all program lifecycle aspects from concept to fielding, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Build, lead, and mentor multi-disciplinary teams fostering innovation and accountability
• Engage customers to understand requirements and contribute to business development
• Provide strategic technical guidance and champion rapid prototyping
