💼 About This Role

You'll lead detection engineering for Fluidstack's IT surface, building the foundations of security detection on infrastructure powering frontier AI. Your work will protect against some of the most sophisticated adversaries. This role offers engineering-led, agent-first detection at unprecedented scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead detection engineering for Fluidstack's IT surface across domains.
• Author and tune production detections as code with CI/CD.
• Apply AI and ML for behavioral analytics and anomaly detection.
• Develop novel detection tooling using LLMs for triage and response.
• Set engineering standards, coverage methodology, and quality metrics.

📋 Requirements

• Detection engineering experience building programs at scale.
• Coding and querying languages fluency with security data at scale.
• Sophisticated detection logic against diverse telemetry, not vendor templates.
• Incident response experience handling security incidents and investigations.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building or operating agentic detection tooling using LLMs.
• Experience designing LLM-based triage systems with measured precision/recall.
• Python and SQL for detection development and security data analysis.
• Background at GPU compute, HPC, or hyperscale infrastructure.
