Description

As a Line Lead, Build at Carvana, you will directly manage a team of hourly associates in our Inspection Center, ensuring vehicles meet our rigorous 150-point inspection standards. You'll oversee daily production, coach team members, and drive safety and quality to exceed goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated functional expertise in reconditioning processes and lean principles
• Valid unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record for 3 years
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work overtime and variable schedules

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of Inspection Center safely to meet production and quality goals
• Oversee daily activities, identify team strengths and weaknesses, and implement improvements
• Coach, develop, and performance-manage team members
• Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory
• Train team using Quality Control standards to minimize re-work and delays
