Description

You will design and execute structured flight tests for autonomous aerial systems, operate UAS in real-world environments, collect and analyze flight data, and collaborate with engineering to drive product improvements. Your work directly enhances flight safety, autonomy performance, and mission readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3+ years experience operating, maintaining, or testing UAS
• Strong understanding of flight operations, safety procedures, and pre/post-flight workflows
• Experience executing structured test plans and documenting results
• Comfortable with dynamic outdoor environments and frequent travel (50-75%)

Responsibilities

• Design and execute structured flight tests for autonomy performance, flight stability, and mission behaviors
• Operate UAS safely in real-world environments with pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures
• Collect, document, and organize flight and system data; identify failures and performance gaps
• Analyze flight test results and generate reports with actionable recommendations
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues in field environments
