💼 About This Role

You'll join the Assay Development group to design and execute experiments for high-throughput diagnostic products, contributing to Veracyte's novel cancer tests. Your work will directly impact study documentation and FDA-level requirements, ensuring seamless transfer of assays from R&D to production. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a purpose-driven environment focused on transforming cancer care.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design interpretable and actionable experimental plans.
• Develop SOPs, protocols, and reports for Design History File.
• Transfer assays from R&D to production.
• Troubleshoot laboratory issues within and outside R&D.

📋 Requirements

• PhD in biology, molecular biology, genetics, or related field.
• At least 3 years biotech industry or postdoctoral experience.
• Experience in Design Control and Quality Systems for regulated products.
• Strong background in next-generation sequencing, microarray, or high-throughput platforms.

✨ Nice to Have

• Domain expertise in cancer.
• Experience with LDT/diagnostics, PMA, 510(k), CE-mark, or IVD.
• Genomic data analysis and visualization skills.
