You'll lead a team of engineers responsible for Linux and VMWare initiator stack behavior, Fibre Channel, and NIC drivers on Pure Storage arrays. Your work will directly optimize storage performance and reliability for customers. This role offers the chance to contribute upstream Linux code and shape next-gen storage systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead kernel and driver development for Linux and VMWare initiator stacks.
• Maintain Fibre Channel SCSI target driver and NIC drivers on storage arrays.
• Analyze and debug complex storage protocol issues in field and internal environments.
• Contribute bug fixes and enhancements to the upstream Linux kernel.

📋 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of development experience (typically 10+).
• Strong experience writing device drivers or kernel development for Linux/Unix.
• Experience with storage protocols like SCSI or NVME Fabrics.
• Experience leading engineers technically and mentoring junior team members.
