Description
You will perform structural stress and fatigue analysis for mechanical assemblies and enclosures, lead FEA validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure structural integrity and reliability of energy infrastructure products deployed at gigawatt scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 10+ years of hands-on structural and mechanical engineering experience
- Strong experience in stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and vibration assessment
- Experience ensuring structural safety and compliance with engineering standards and codes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop detailed reports and calculations
Responsibilities
- Perform structural stress and fatigue analysis for mechanical assemblies and enclosures
- Lead or review Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models to validate designs under static, dynamic, thermal, and seismic loading
- Ensure mechanical and structural safety under operational, transportation, vibration, and environmental conditions
- Evaluate failure modes and recommend design improvements for durability and lifecycle performance
- Collaborate with BESS, Power Electronics, and Controls teams for integrated system performance
