Description

You will join a two-year rotational program to develop technical expertise in power system operations, supporting the reliability of New York's power grid. Your work will involve maintaining processes, performing load flow studies, and collaborating across departments to ensure efficient electricity market operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in power systems
• Analytical approach to problem solving
• Strong team and interpersonal skills
• No prior industry experience required; internship or class project helpful
• Knowledge of power system operation and planning preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and procedures for system reliability
• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions
• Perform load flow studies and analysis for outage coordination
• Provide technical support to grid operators during real-time operations
• Support compliance with NERC reliability standards
