Description

You will design, integrate, and develop space-based optical instruments and payloads for defense and intelligence missions. You'll manage requirements, lead verification and validation, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex space systems.

Requirements

• Experience in systems engineering for space-based electro-optical sensors
• Ability to manage requirements and ensure traceability
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and reports
• Experience supporting integration and testing of space payloads
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and develop space-based optical instruments, subsystems, and payloads
• Define, allocate, and manage technical requirements for space systems
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (e.g., ICDs, CONOPs, test plans)
• Lead hardware and software verification and validation activities
• Provide technical oversight of system architecture, interfaces, and mission assurance
