💼 About This Role

You'll evaluate and improve weld processes for turbine engine components in the aerospace MRO sector, working with a global leader that became a Safran company in 2025. Your core impact involves solving process problems, developing new repairs, and submitting proposals for FAA/DER approval. This role offers the chance to work with manual and robotic GTAW on components for the world's largest airlines.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Evaluate engine components and weld processes to ensure efficient operations.
• Solve weld process problems and improve methods economically without compromising quality.
• Develop new repairs or processes and submit written proposals for approval.
• Provide technical support to production and resolve process discrepancies.

📋 Requirements

• Advanced knowledge in welding and manufacturing processes.
• Two/four-year technical degree (BS in Chemistry, Materials, Welding, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• General understanding of civil aviation regulations and engine/overhaul manuals.
• Ability to comprehend complex technical information and organize records.
