Description

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Nuro, you'll design and prototype sensor vehicle integration components using CAD tools, fabricate parts with 3D printers, and conduct a self-directed research project to advance self-driving technology.

Requirements

• 2+ years of undergraduate curriculum in mechanical engineering
• Hands-on experience with designing, building, and testing working systems
• Experience with shop environment and rapid prototyping
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, Matlab, Python, or similar scripting
• Strong knowledge of materials, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• CAD design of sensor vehicle integration components using NX Teamcenter
• Prototype development and fabrication of structural and appearance components
• Build testing jigs and fit check parts using 3D printers and in-house tools
• Conduct self-directed research project to advance technology and testing methods
