Description

You will recruit and assess research manuscripts, partner with the Editorial Board of Academic Editors, handle peer review, and commission articles for our Magazine section. This role involves conference travel and contributing to editorial projects to advance open science.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area
• Experience in research environment, publishing, or relevant industry
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate across teams and deliver against firm deadlines

Responsibilities

• Handle research manuscripts submitted to the journal
• Commission articles for the Front section
• Undertake lab visits and travel to conferences to recruit high-quality submissions
• Participate in writing editorials, blog posts, and related materials
• Participate in the daily running of the journal, including editorial projects and initiatives
