Description

As a Hardware Systems Engineering intern at Mill, you will work hands-on with hardware components, lab equipment, and CAD tools, spanning building, testing, and analysis. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and validate new products, build test setups, and troubleshoot system-level performance, driving designs toward mass production.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (obtained or in progress)
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection for electro-mechanical systems
• Proficient in 3D CAD (prefer Nx)
• Proficient in rapid prototyping methods
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional team on system design and validation of new products
• Build test setups and explore new ways to control the system
• Support system engineering testing with firmware and product designers
• Troubleshoot and drive system-level performance
• Develop prototypes and execute tests for mass production maturity
