Description
You will lead a team of Sales Engineers for Samsara's largest customers, driving the value of our IoT platform. You'll manage performance, collaborate with sales teams, and contribute to scaling the Sales Engineering function. This role requires strategic thinking and a passion for solving real-world operational challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from 4-year accredited university
- 5+ years professional experience in hands-on engineering, pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support
- 3+ years sales engineering management experience
- Experience with Software Product sales; Infrastructure, SaaS
- Knowledge in IoT, Networking/Security, SaaS, Cloud Technologies, or Physical Security
Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing Sales Engineering team
- Manage individual and team performance, ensuring productive partnership with sales, product, support, and customer success
- Work with Regional Sales Managers on account planning, strategy, and sales call activity
- Manage escalations in a pre-sales environment
- Participate in customer/prospect calls as a trusted advisor
