Description

You will work on Cobblestone Energy's Commercial team, preparing and analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models for trading strategies, building data pipelines, and integrating AI workflows. Collaborate with traders and engineers to drive data-driven decisions in European energy markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and R
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, SQL
• Experience programmatically integrating LLMs into data pipelines
• Interest in data-driven trading

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from market, fundamental, and operational sources
• Develop and validate predictive models (e.g., wind generation, demand) to support trading strategies
• Prototype, back-test, and refine data-driven trading ideas; collaborate to productionise solutions
• Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and automated tooling to streamline workflows
• Utilise LLMs and agentic frameworks to accelerate EDA, automate data cleaning, and generate synthetic data
