As a Sous Chef, you'll help lead our scratch-based kitchen, ensuring culinary excellence through consistent recipe execution and team training. You'll inspire the team during peak service, address guest concerns, and mentor aspiring chefs to build a better food system.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • 2+ years cooking in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong culinary abilities and openness to learning
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and uplift the culinary team through expertise and positive demeanor
  • Achieve proficiency at all stations by executing recipes and training team
  • Coordinate prep lists, waste logs, and food inventory with Chef de Cuisine
  • Assist with ordering systems to manage stock levels
  • Ensure adherence to Department of Health and Naked Farmer food safety protocols
