πΌ About This Role
You'll join the Neutron Avionics Hardware team to develop next-generation launch vehicle technology, taking ownership of mission-critical avionics components from concept through production. Your work will directly enable the first flights of the Neutron rocket.
π― What You'll Do
- Own and lead avionics components and subsystems from concept to production
- Execute full lifecycle development including schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing
- Design digital, power, and analog sensing circuits for harsh aerospace environments
- Develop automation software in Python and C/C++ for test equipment
π Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 1+ years of experience with electronics hardware development from concept through production
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and sensors including power supplies and serial devices
- Hands-on proficiency with lab test equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies
β¨ Nice to Have
- Experience with environmental testing including vibration and thermal
- Proficiency in Altium Designer
- Programming experience with Python, C, and C++
