Description

You will lead the Design-to-Order engineering organization at IEM, overseeing a team of electrical and mechanical engineers to deliver customized switchgear solutions. This executive role requires balancing technical excellence and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement and transforming engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership in power product manufacturing
• Proven track record leading engineering organizations of 100+ engineers in design-to-order environments
• Deep understanding of electrical switchgear design and industry standards (IEEE/ANSI, UL, CSA, NEC, IEC)
• Experience with PLM, CAD, and engineering data management systems

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the Design Engineering organization
• Oversee execution of hundreds of concurrent customer projects
• Monitor KPIs related to on-time delivery and defect-free designs
• Transform engineering workflows to standardized, repeatable solutions
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service
